Halftone

What this example shows

halftone() prints the picture the way a comic or a newspaper did. With mode at 0 it is a grid of dots that grow where the picture is dark; at 1 it is lines laid over each other as it darkens, one direction for the light shadows and more for the deep ones.

scale is the size of a dot (or the gap between lines) in game pixels and angle turns the grid. The paper is white and the ink is black, or the picture's own colour as color goes to 1.

Click to switch between dots and lines, ↑ ↓ for the size, C for the ink and Space to switch it off.
